IN 1999 a 1, 50,000 square feet processing unit was setup at SILVASSA with an installed capacity of 22 lakh square foot per annum, with highly specialized equipment to process the imported marble. The of equipment on the premises included a GengSaw which can cut massive blocks of marble of 10 feet in length and 7 feet in breadth. This is the biggest GengSaw unit in the area.
